As CEO of MODO International, Giovanni Lo Faro has helped redefine the eyewear industry with a blend of design, innovation, sustainability and purpose.

His leadership has driven Modo’s brand portfolio into over 80 countries and 25k doors worldwide. First was the Modo brand, declining cutting edge design and innovative materials into everyday use and accessibl positioning. Then came Eco, pioneering sustainability in eyewear in 2009 – still setting the path with its 360° approach across all the brand’s touchpoints – product to packaging, to supply chain. More recently Italia Independent, the iconic brand founded by Lapo Elkann, purchased by Modo with the goal of rebuilding its past glories.

With Eyefly, Modo reinterprets smart glasses to seamlessly integrate into the lifestyle of the individual that sees tech as a means more than an end.

Blending 15 years in New York with education in Madrid and his recent base in Milano, Giovanni brings a global mindset to every challenge. He enjoys sharing and learning at meaningful workshops, schools, and conferences like this.
