Isabella is an entrepreneur and fashion designer best known for her revolutionary children’s underwear, My Private Pocket. Born with the rare spinal condition spina bifida occulta, Isabella could not control her bladder as a young child. She started carrying wipes, spare underwear, and liners to school, but it didn’t take long before her friends noticed. Nothing on the market made carrying the supplies she needed more discreet until one day, she had an idea! After many prototypes, Isabella and her mother, Teresa, created My Private Pocket. Initially, the underwear was created just for Isabella, but they both soon realized their product could help so many other young children. It started as a game, morphed into a project, and ultimately became a business, Hidden Innovations. Now a successful high school student, Isabella is more involved than ever creating products with fashionable designs that empower kids/young adults and help them realize their condition doesn’t define them.
