Today we interview Carlos Belmonte. He is a global fashion executive, with vast experience in product building and elevation. He is also the COO at Sanderlak and has worked in New York for more then 20 years.

What originally drew you to the fashion industry?

Original was the creativity within parameters, The colors, fabrics and shapes, how fashion can help shape someone’s personality

What is one shift or challenge shaping the fashion industry right now that leaders should pay attention to?

Data, have clean mapping of data points and be realistic when using Ai data analytics comparisons and searches. If you don’t know exactly who you are as a brand and who is your customer you are lost.

Where do you see the most interesting opportunities for technology or AI in fashion?

Both have important roles shaping the future of fashion, ai will tell us what to do and see the future but only technology can get us there fast and safe

What advice would you give to founders building fashion or fashion-tech companies today?

Pay attention to the mapping of your information, know what data you need to prioritize to do the job right
