As part of Miami Swim Week® The Shows, Fashinnovation returned to Miami for a special edition of Miami Talks, bringing together founders, executives, innovators, media leaders, and creators for an afternoon of conversations at The Moore in the Miami Design District, in partnership with Longevity Lounge.
More than a regular conference, Miami Talks was designed as a special gathering focused on connection, collaboration, and the ideas shaping the future of fashion.
In the entire afternoon, one theme consistently showed up:
The future of fashion will be built at the intersection of identity, technology, sustainability, wellness, and community.

Fashion Style, Brand Identity & New Global Trends
The first panel explored how brands can stay authentic while navigating an increasingly global and digital marketplace.
Moderated by Lucía Ugarte del Campo, Founder & CEO of Chicas Guapas TV, the conversation featured:
- Sheryl Clark, CEO & President, Boston Proper
- Manuela Gutierrez, Co-Founder, Maaji
- Megan Bentley, Founder, The Color Countess
- Nía Vasquez, Founder of Ibiza Swim Week and Cocora Shop
The discussion pointed out the growing importance of brand identity as a competitive advantage.
While trends continue to evolve the entire time, panelists made clear that consumers are increasingly drawn to brands with a clear point of view, authentic storytelling, and consistent values.
Topics went from global expansion and localization strategies to collaborations, sustainability, and the challenge of maintaining brand integrity across multiple channels and markets.
A key takeaway is that the strongest brands are not trying to be everything to everyone. They are becoming more intentional about who they serve and what they stand for.

How Innovation, AI & Sustainability Are “Swapping” the Fashion Industry
Technology is transforming every part of the fashion industry, but the panel made it clear that innovation is ultimately about people.
Moderated by Marcelo Guimaraes, Founder of Fashinnovation, the conversation brought together:
- Vanessa Sanchez, CEO & Co-Founder, Bonnee
- Corey Gotlieb, Founder & CEO, Replika Software
- Mitali Saxena, Founder, Fashom
The discussion explored how artificial intelligence, personalization, circular business models, and community-driven commerce are changing the industry.
They also discussed very important themes like:
- The rise of AI-powered personalization
- Demand intelligence and smarter inventory decisions
- The evolution of social commerce
- The future of ownership versus access
- Sustainability as a business opportunity rather than a constraint
They all agreed that technology alone is not the answer.
The brands creating long-term value will be those that combine innovation with human insight, creativity, and purpose.
One question resonated throughout the conversation:
How do we build a more profitable industry while simultaneously building a more sustainable one?

The Next Impact: Ocean, Sustainable Materials & Innovation
The future of ocean innovation and sustainable materials.
The discussion featured:
- Sasha Royce, Co-Founder & CEO, Smart Swimsuit
- Lisa Hynes, Director, Ocean Rising
Together, they talked about the growing role of environmental responsibility in product development and innovation.
The conversation highlighted the importance of moving beyond awareness and action, creating scalable solutions that look at some of the most important challenges facing our oceans and ecosystems.
The discussion reinforced an important reality, that the future of sustainability will depend on collaboration between entrepreneurs, innovators, corporations, and consumers.

Longevity, Wellness & Lifestyle
Fashion no longer exists in isolation.
Today’s consumers view wellness, lifestyle, and personal longevity as interconnected parts of the same conversation more and more every day.
Moderated by Rich Santelises, CGO of Healthy Longevity Clinic, the panel featured:
- Angela Hunte, Grammy Award-winning songwriter and artist
- Dana Goldberg, Fashion Lifestyle Expert, Bungalow Agency
- Priscilla Hawthorne, Founder, The Maximum Life
- Dr. Uberto Mondolfi, U.S. CEO, Healthy Longevity Clinic
- Cheryl Zuckerman, Chief Revenue Officer, Lavior Pharma Inc.
The conversation explored how wellness is becoming one of the most influential forces shaping consumer behavior, brand positioning, and lifestyle choices.
From preventative health and longevity science to personal branding and self-expression, they discussed how individuals are often seeking experiences, products, and communities that contribute to a longer, healthier, and more meaningful life.

Beyond the Stage
While the conversations on stage were powerful, some of the most valuable moments happened between sessions.
New relationships were formed.
Unexpected collaborations were discussed.
Ideas moved from concept to possibility.
This is ultimately what Fashinnovation is about:
Creating environments where leaders from different industries, backgrounds, and perspectives can come together to exchange ideas and build the future collaboratively.

Looking Ahead
Miami Talks showed us something we strongly believe:
The future of fashion will not be built by a single company, technology, or trend.
It will be built through ecosystems.
Through conversations and partnerships.
And through communities willing to challenge conventional thinking.
A sincere thank you to all speakers, attendees, partners, and supporters who joined us at The Moore for this special edition.
The conversation continues.
See you at the next Fashinnovation gathering.
