Founders Table: The Future of Fashion is Built in Private Rooms, From Idea to Ecosystem

read 4 min

Fashion has never lacked events.

It has lacked trusted rooms.

After hundreds of conversations, panels, conferences, and global gatherings, we realized something surprising:

The most valuable conversations rarely happened on stage.

They happened after the lights went off.

Around a dinner table. Over a drink.

Between leaders willing to speak honestly.

For years, Fashinnovation has been a place for global conversations, bringing together incredible leaders from fashion, retail, technology, and sustainability.

This realization was the beginning of the Founders Table. It was born from a simple desire: to create a room that didn’t exist.

A space where leaders could connect as human beings, free from the pressure of performance or public opinion. This philosophy, rooted in intimacy and depth, is what truly defines the Fashinnovation ecosystem.

In an industry often overwhelmed by “noise” – endless conferences, webinars, and social media – the Founders Table offers an antidote.

It’s a format designed for depth, not visibility. No presentations, no pitches, no sales. Just leaders sharing perspectives, challenges, and opportunities honestly. This intentional focus on intimacy over scale is what makes these rooms so powerful.

A Curated Ecosystem of Visionaries

The strength of the Founders Table lies in the participants. Each edition brings together a curated group of founders, fashion brands, retail executives, technology companies, media leaders, and innovation partners. These are the individuals shaping the future of fashion and retail.

Over the editions, the room has welcomed leaders connected to global brands, emerging innovators, media organizations, and technology pioneers.

Including executives from Nike, Amazon, Meta, Gucci, Michael Kors, Steve Madden, Calvin Klein, Rent The Runway, Tory Burch, WHP Global, Visulon, UNTUCKit, Daily Mail and many others.

These diverse perspectives create a unique collision of ideas, with conversations that rarely happen elsewhere.

From AI adoption and supply chain transformation to brand building and the evolving role of leadership, the dialogue is rich and impactful.

The First Edition: The Speakeasy Experiment

It began at Saint Tuesday, a modern speakeasy in New York City. The place was symbolic: a hidden space designed for dialogue, far from the performance of the traditional industry stage.

We gathered a small, curated group of people with simple premises: no presentations, no scripts, and no public audience.

The energy in that first room was electric. It confirmed our theory that the industry’s most influential leaders were hungry for depth and intimacy.

That night, the “speakeasy” became the blueprint for everything that followed.

That first gathering eventually inspired something else: The Speakeasy.

What started as a physical room became a storytelling platform.

The same philosophy that shaped the Founders Table would later shape our interviews, conversations, and editorial content.

Different formats.

Same belief: Real conversations create real impact.

Lessons Learned: Solving for Depth

Over the course of the editions, we have learned that the quality of a conversation is directly proportional to the level of trust in the room.

We discovered that when you remove the pressure to pitch or perform, leaders are more able to share their most pressing challenges—from AI integration and supply chain volatility to the nuances of brand conviction.

The most significant lesson? Innovation doesn’t need a microphone; it needs a safe place. Trust is the infrastructure of innovation.

We learned that the real success metric isn’t the number of attendees, but the strategic meetings and long-term alliances that come from these private dialogues.

How the Room Evolved: From Experiment to Flagship Ecosystem

From January’s Idea to June’s Ecosystem

In January, the Founders Table existed only as a concept.

A simple belief that relevant conversations deserved a different format.

By February, the first room came to life.

By June, five editions later, the concept had evolved into a growing ecosystem of founders, executives, investors, operators, and innovators.

What surprised us most wasn’t attendance.

It was momentum.

People came back.

Introductions turned into meetings.

Meetings became partnerships.

Partnerships became community.

What started as a private experiment has evolved into an important initiative within the Fashinnovation ecosystem. We have moved from hosting meetings to facilitating continuous, global dialogue.

The Founders Table has expanded across cities—from New York to Miami and beyond—becoming a trusted bridge between fashion brands, technology giants, and the next generation of innovators.

It has become the “Connection Layer”.

Relationships Over Transactions: The Fashinnovation Advantage

In 2026, the competitive advantage isn’t just technology; it’s access to the right conversations, built on trust and community.

The Founders Table is designed to create these trusted relationships, understanding that partnerships follow when trust comes first.

It’s about building alliances before everyone else sees the opportunity.

Will You Be In The Room?

The Founders Table began as an experiment and evolved into an ecosystem. It’s a place where ideas become partnerships, and where leaders can connect authentically. The future of fashion is not built on the runway alone; it’s built in rooms like this.

The runway may introduce the future.

The room is where the future gets built.

Welcome to the Founders Table.
