Shaway Yeh is one of China’s key opinion leader on Fashion and Culture. Under Yeh’s editorial direction Modern Weekly reaches China’s elite readers with the latest international news, trends, and cultural discussion and became China’s most influential lifestyle publication.

In 2017 she also became co-creative director of global video channel NOWNESS. Yeh is advisor to Copenhagen Fashion Summit and Green Carpet Fashion Award and has been using her media outreach to advocate issues related to sustainability and innovation.

She founded consultancy agency yehyehyeh to push forwards the sustainability agenda among Chinese brands and designers, bringing together sustainability, creativity and innovation to instigate value-based change.

Gabby Hirata is the president and chief executive of DVF (Diane von Furstenberg), having joined the company in January 2020. Prior to this she served as the chief strategy officer of Jill Stuart in 2019, and the managing director of Adeam, a NY-based Japanese luxury brand from 2014 to 2018. Prior to these senior management roles, Gabby specialized in product development and supply chains at Ralph Lauren, managing the global sourcing of Blue Label and the launch of Polo for Women from 2009 to 2014.

Production, the root of Gabby’s career, serves as a cornerstone in her relentless pursuit of creating the best values for customers by optimizing product quality and merchandising tiers. Her multi-cultural and tri-lingual background (Chinese and Japanese in addition to English) have been a consistent core competence, enabled her to streamline and scale organizations through establishing international offices, standard operating procedures, and global go-to-market strategies with a focus on China.

Gabby is an undergraduate from Franklin and Marhsall College with a double major in Art History and Japanese. She resides in downtown Manhattan with her husband and daughter.
